Unit 4 - Loving-kindness

I love you all!!!! Haha, that is the immediate result of meditating the Practice 1, loving-kindness. I found it not hard at all to imagine the people, the loved one, the not so loved one, and then all. I like the thought of helping - hence my career choice of psychologist. I will practice this more often, this meditation. It actually suggests every day, well, I messed up already - didn't do it today...but maybe tonight. Anyway, I think the prior meditations, here and in my 'other' life have been helpful in preparing the ground for this meditation, as will this one prepare the ground for the next steps. It is so exciting!
I just want to add that I also get a different feedback from people....with the rainbow, which I still love, and this loving-kindness meditation I feel that people are almost drawn to my 'good vibrations'. I totally think it affects the people around me.

As to mental workout - even school medicine has accepted that mental workout is conducive to dementia or senile patients. This is only one way of working out the mind. Meditation and humanistic evaluations are mental workout as well. All expanding knowledge - on a worldly and on a spiritual level. The merits of these activities can be seen in better health, physical, better mood, psychological, and more connectedness with people and the universe, spiritual. I will be sooo healthy after this class! Wow!

  1. What I found after the audio exercise was not that I wanted to go around and hug anybody, my wife wouldn't like that anyway, but I just felt more relaxed and at peace. Strange, huh. It was like I wasn't gonna let the "idiots" around me ruin my day. By the way, love your blog.

  2. I am glad you had such a wonderful experience that fact that you felt as if the vibrations from you were drawing people closer to you is wonderful.
